We have created the EWI-Re-trumpet by transforming the Artinoise re.corder into a trumpet-style instrument and integrating additional MIDI capabilities through our augmentation kit. The system now includes a bite sensor, pitch-bend control, a portamento pad, and multiple assignable MIDI buttons, expanding expressive control and performance flexibility.

We have transformed the Artinoise re.co rder into an expressive digital MIDI soprano saxophone, which we named the Sop-Reco-Phone. This innovation is founded on our technology and expertise with MIDI augmentation kits. The Soprecophone  is a fully modified re.corder  transformed into a complete digital soprano saxophone. The installation and functionality of the bite sensor have been improved. We utilized a more sensitive and precise joystick switch for pitch bending and positioned the pitchbend optimally on the EMEO. The saxophone bell decoration is also more realistic.

We enhanced our Augmented YDS-120 premium version by incorporating two MIDI touch buttons. These buttons can be assigned to keyswitch functions like transpose, falls, trills, flutter, and more. It retains all premium version features, including a bite sensor, a teeth switch for growling, and a MIDI on/off switch.

We enhanced our Augmented Clarii Mini with an improved design and functionality as digital midi soprano saxophone. It includes a bite sensor (MIDI CC#1), a teeth switch for growling (CC#21), a portamento pad (CC#5), pitch bend, and a MIDI on/off switch. It is equipped with a CME WIDI for wireless MIDI transfer and features a rechargeable battery.

Throughout the year, we have tested our augmentation kit and worked on enhancing its functionality. We have developed an improved design for the bite sensor, which is now completely waterproof and has a long lifespan. Previously, the pitch bend was jumpy, but we have now made it very smooth and accurate by using a high-quality joystick switch. We also found the best location of the pitch bend on the EMEO.
