Yamaha YDS-120/150 Augmentation Kit - Alto Version

We have developed a MIDI augmentation kit designed for the Yamaha YDS-120/150 digital saxophones. This kit can be purchased and seamlessly installed into your YDS instrument, transforming it into a professional-grade digital MIDI saxophone.

The kit includes:

• A handcrafted bite sensor

• A rechargeable battery

• A custom 3D-printed mouthpiece and Alto Saxophone bell

  
  

Our system integrates the original YDS MIDI signal with MIDI CC #1 generated from the bite sensor. The final MIDI output is routed through both a standard 5-pin MIDI port (for cable connection) and a CME WIDI host, enabling Bluetooth wireless MIDI transmission. The kit is configured for alto saxophone. We are also developing a soprano saxophone configuration of this augmentation kit.
